Thoughts About Wearing Pink During Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Well, I'm a little hypocritical about wearing specific colors for awarenesses. Like I think wearing blue for bullying and yellow for suicide awareness is pointless because wearing a color isn't going to stop the bullying or reduce suicide rates. But I do like wearing pink for breast cancer even though it's not going to stop or get rid of breast cancer. I like it because I can tell people genuinely care about the cause. I also like it because it gives a whole month instead of one day. But I think we need to be aware of bad things all year round, not just one day or month. Every cause should have a week out of the year so every week we're taking part of something important. Wearing colors alone won't take problems away, but if it was a constant thing maybe it would drill into someones soul to the point of actually taking part in something to actually help. :)
