Alison Gopnik gave the talk.

2. Brief summary of the talk.
She was talking about how babies are thought to be creatures who have no sense of anything. She claimed though that babies actually do think. She discussed how babies are always thinking and have sense of what's going on and probably think more than they don't think.

3. Did the talk change the way I think?
No. not really. I always believed that babies were deep thinkers.

If I had to choose between living forever or having an unlimited supply of money, I'd choose the money. But then again I'm indecisive so who knows with meee.

Okay anyway. Today is Friday, soo that's exciting !
I'm going over to Wills after school and hang out and eat and whatnot.
Then later on I'll go to my dads because it's his weekend!
I haven't seen him in a week which doesn't seem very long but it seems like a month haha.

It sucks that AIMS retakes and tutoring is the same week as dress rehearsal for theatre soooo I never get to go get help. Aggravating.

Today is going lovely! :) It't the start of what I like to call ''birthweek'' because OBVIOUSLY my birthday is this week. On Friday. Yep :)

Tonight my lovely boyfriend is taking me to a Colbie Cailat concert as a present. I'm exicteddddd. :D

Success

My definition of success is being happy and fully content with your achievements and goals. It's all about your personal view and how you'd like to give yourself true credit .

Favorite Subject

My favorite subjects differ throughout time because it depends on not only the content, but the teacher. The teacher makes a HUUUUGE difference in the subject. I hated math forever because I always had mean teachers who didn't like to help and I loved other subjects because of only the teacher. My favorite subject this year is math or forensic science because the teachers push for hard work and I like how much they make me think. Plus teachers for both subjects are nice and willing to help me.

Occupy Wall Street

I think we live in an obnoixiously corrupt world. I also think money is pointless. Why must we revolve our lives around rules with money, taxes, and other dumb things. Money just causes problems. People without money hate the people with it who actually worked hard to earn it. People with money don't give it any thought because they've actually become successful and worked hard for all of their earnings. People are just dumb.

Fuh Rye Day

The substitute told us to post a blog. People are arguing with him that we don't have to. But I will anyway. BUT I don't know what to say because I'm not good with posting unless we have something specific to blog about. I'm not good at saying just what's on my mind because it's all complex and then I just start to ramble. And noone cares about what I'm talking about anyway soo what's the point? Right? Haha. Oh but the game was sick last night. I saw coach on the field. yeppppp. Happy Happy Joy Joy.

If I died tomorrow...

If I died tomorrow I'm 99% sure noone would remember anything about me. What I'd LIKE to be remembered for are my videos and YouTube channel. I've made thousands of people laugh and I'm told everyday how people watch my videos when they're sad. I'm pretty sure out of the almost 500,000 upload views that someone would be bound to remember me. It'd be a nice thing to be remembered for from the people around the world who go to my videos for happiness.

Weh en zzz day.

Today is super good, like yesterday. I'm happy. :) And last hour was fun...again. I felt smart haha. And today I get to go pick up my grandpa from the airport. Yay!! He's been back in Illinois for almost a month now. I live mainly with my grandparents so it's weird when he goes to visit for a long time. So I'm happy he'll be back tonight! :)

What about?
Pictures are not worth a thousand words, more like 500 billion. It's also about how from billions of words you can learn about history and build the future, just from words. Google has a huge part of the deal with it's database.

What did I learn?
I learned that words are kind of underrated as well as history and the want to learn about it. None really cares anymore but there are a lot of opportunities to learn.


2.) Who gave the talk?
Jane Chen

What about?
Saving premature babies by a local chance to save them. Just warmth could save it's life. Jane Chen invented an alternative to unsafe and expensive incubators. It's  similar to a sleeping bag and is filled with a gel like substance that is made to pact body temperature . When it melts it stays within the temperature and becomes a micro-enviroment to the baby. It's $25 which is less than .1% of the cost of an incubator.

What I learned?
I really didn't know that saving a baby was so expensive and complex. Now at least there is Chens wonderful invention and shouldn't be a struggle anymore.

Favorite Holiday

I'm too indecisive so I'll list my two of a few other of my favorites.


-Halloween because it's 10 days after my birthday, it's nice outside, it's the ending of my favorite month, and I love dressing up and getting scared.

-Thanksgiving because that's usually when I see most of my family who lives all over the place and my family makes yummy food and I love that time of the year. :) 

I guess the whole month of October is like a holiday to me. :) The weather is perfect, it's my birthday on the 21st, there's halloween, it's not too hot to go outside and do things, theres yummy holiday food, scary fun stuff, and lotsa other stuff. I call October my birth month because everyday is like my birthday. So I'm SOOOO excited that it's finally here. :D
